Art Lab- Creative Life Drawing At Heatherley's

This brand new series of exciting workshops at Heatherley's use the human figure as a visual prompt through which participants can unlock their own creativity and learn to think like an artist.

ArtLab, a collaboration between London Drawing and The Heatherley School Of Art, is a really exciting project as the sessions provide an opportunity for all involved to develop and really explore all aspects of creative drawing in a studio environment.

Join us for a fresh look at Life Drawing in an exciting new workshop designed to build confidence and ability.

ArtLab is a new life drawing course suitable for the complete beginner and experienced artist alike. Over four Saturdays we will focus on technique and materials in a practical, hands-on class- combining traditional Life Drawing practices with experimental drawing ideas and mediums.

ArtLab is a hands-on drawing experience with practicing artists offering group tuition as well as one to one guidance throughout the day. Participants will be introduced to the basics of fundamental drawing, building skill, knowledge and confidence over the course of the day and moving on to explore contemporary studio practice and experimental techniques.

This course is suitable for all levels of ability- providing a stimulating, accessible environment for all.
